Pure Milk

SPRINGTIME invites you to the mostly sunny world of Pure Milk, where the air is hot, hazy, and the mundane minutiae has never seemed so important. Keeping in the spirit of DIY, lo-fi Australiana jangle, the Gold Coast 6-piece have created a charmingly chaotic sound with dissonant guitar lines and a sharp, dry wit. Their most recent EP Garden Anxiety saw the band break new ground, lyrically and sonically exploring themes of self-identity, anxiety, teenage unease, and the simplistic importance of day-to-day routine. It also saw the band receive local acclaim with singles Conversations and Pressure receiving numerous plays attention from Triple J heavyweights Richard Kingsmill and Zan Rowe. After beginning the new year with a run of East coast shows supporting Press Club and Peach Fur, Pure Milk are back working hard in their home studio, ahead of an anticipated 2021 release. What to expect: Rock, alternative-indie
